Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has told he like to play with Lionel Messi. The full-back was addressing the media today in Spain’s international training camp at Las Rozas ahead of Wednesday’s friendly match against Colombia.
The debate has been reignited by comments made by Atletico Madrid coach Quique Sanchez Flores, who branded Messi the ‘Di Stefano of the 21st century’.
Ramos, however, believes the opposite to Flores: “That question depends on each person, but I would side with Cristiano, because he plays in my team.”
The former Sevilla stopper also had words of encouragement for Fernando Torres, who completed his move from Liverpool to Chelsea on the final day of the transfer window, saying: “I want to wish Torres the best of luck at a team like Chelsea.”
