Sergio Ramos has said that Real Madrid the best team in the world right now. Speaking after los Blancos' 5-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish Primera Division on Saturday night, Ramos spoke highly of his team and also expressed his confidence of a victory against Barcelona at Camp Nou on November 29.
"I hope football fans enjoy a great match next week and that we bring a win back to Madrid," Sergio Ramos is quoted as saying by Madrid's official website. "We don't need to pay attention to anyone but ourselves.
"We have our own identity and we hope to stay on track. This is the best team in the world by far."
The Spain international netted Madrid's third goal against Bilbao from the penalty spot to put them 3-1 up. Reflecting on that incident, Ramos told AS, "On the pitch everyone was surprised.
